As of last night we have sold over 200 bracelets and raised over $3000 for charity. We have been in "operation" for less than 6 months, and we hope to continue to expand our class offerings. Our goal is to raise $10,000 by 12 months - please help us by spreading the word about our cause and by sharing our page across social media.
As Joe is apt to say: this is a three-man operation, and we are constantly on the lookout for help and assistance. Glenn, class of '07, has generously offered to help out with some LNO duties across classes. So far, that's our team!
As active duty Army infantry officers, we're subject to deployments, long training events, and MDMP sessions that go for days. Time is a valuable resource, and we understand that. Any amount of help you can give will be much appreciated!
Please keep in mind that this is NOT a for-profit endeavor. We've received a lot of offers to help...in exchange for monetary compensation. Unfortunately, we're just three guys trying to making a difference, not a full-fledged non-profit able to pay salaries. We literally can't afford to pay people for help. And that's not the point of this, either. We're here to honor our friends and classmates' memories and to give back to those families that have given so much.
In closing, we just want to say thank you to everyone that has supported us. No dollar amount or college scholarship will ever assuage the pain that comes from the loss of our friends, our classmates, our brothers, our sisters, our sons, our daughters, our fathers, and our mothers. We only hope to do what little we can to honor their sacrifice.
