1LT Amos "Camden" R. Bock (USMA '04)
1st Lt. Camden Bock, 24, of New Madrid, Mo., died on Oct. 23 in Baghdad, Iraq, from injuries suffered when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle. Bock was assigned to the 4th Battalion, 320th Field Artillery Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Ky.
His awards and decorations include the National Defense Service Medal; Army Service Ribbon; Overseas Service Ribbon; Iraq Campaign Medal; Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; Combat Action Badge; Air Assault Badge; and Ranger Tab.
He is survived by his parents, Jill and Riley, of New Madrid, Mo. A memorial service for Bock will be held in Iraq.
Proceeds from the 1LT Amos "Camden" R. Bock bracelet will be donated to the Amos Camden Bock Scholarship Fund.
