1LT(R) Richard Glover Jr. (USMA '15)
Richard Glover Jr: A Man with a Loving Heart, and a Warrior's Spirit.
January 3, 1992 - June 20, 2019
Richard Glover Jr. was undoubtedly the perfect example of a phenomenal teammate, and even those words are understatement. He embodied what it meant to be a brother, friend, son, confidante and coach. Glove was the type of person who would fight for you, even when you wanted to stop fighting for yourself. When you thought you had nothing left to give, Glove would stand by your side, pick you up, and carry you through the finish line. Then he would go back and help the next person, never once stopping to think about himself. The most important aspect of his freely given love is that it was truly genuine. It is no surprise that most of his teammates took to calling him G-Love. Glove's love for other people was exemplified in how hard he would fight for their success, on the football field with his teammates, and off the field with anyone who was fortunate enough to come in contact with him.
For every 1LT Glover bracelet sold, $10 will be donated to a charity of his family’s choosing.
