Capt. Miguel J. Nava (USNA '17)
Miguel was lost on February 7, 2024, when the CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter he was aboard crashed in Pine Valley, California, approximately 50 miles east of San Diego.
Four others aboard were also killed; they were members of Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron (HMH) 361. They were flying from Creech Air Force Base in Nevada to their Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, California, home base.
Miguel was the kindest soul you’d ever met. All who are grateful to know him will miss his warmth, positive energy, and compassion.
Proceeds from the Capt. Miguel J. Nava bracelet will be donated to Miguel’s wife and newborn son.
