CPT Michael J. Mackinnon, 30, of Helena, Mont., died on Oct. 27, in Baghdad, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his HMMWV during convoy operations. Mackinnon was assigned to the Army's 4th Battalion, 64th Armor Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Ga. He is survived by his wife Beth, Father, and three sisters.

Proceeds from the CPT Michael J. MacKinnon bracelet will be donated to the Spina Bifida Association of America in his memory.
