SGT Joseph C. Butcher
Joseph Charles Butcher, 31, of Beaver Falls, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2019.
Born March 11, 1988, he was the son of Darla Butcher.
Joseph served courageously as a Sergeant in the US Army, and was deployed overseas twice to serve his country. He was the ultimate outdoors man; hunting, fishing, you name it. Joseph found peace, not with people, but with nature. No matter how loud the world got, nature was able to quiet the noise and gave him the tranquility he needed. He was one of a kind; a person unlike anyone his friends and family have ever met and they will never forget the countless pranks he played or the memories made.
He is survived by his wife, Yanessi Butcher, two daughters; Skylar Grace and Harper Rae, three siblings; Ryan, Peyton and Hannah Hastings, all of Beaver Falls, mother; Darla Butcher (Alvin Hamilton), Beaver Falls, step-father; Ken Hastings, Beaver Falls, mother and father-in-law; Selma and Luis Gonzalez, Miami, FL, grandmother; Shirley Butcher, South Beaver, two uncles; David (Terri) Butcher and Dan (Kim) Butcher, Beaver Falls, numerous aunts, uncles, great aunts and uncles, cousins, one nephew and his Army family.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather; David Butcher.
Proceeds from the SGT Joseph C. Butcher bracelet will be donated to Legacies Alive.
