Remembering Jason Edward Hunt.
Captain Jason Edward Hunt, United States Army, went home to be with the Lord on May 29, 2026, in Scottsdale, Arizona, at age 29. Born on September 25, 1996, in Tampa, Florida, Jason called Bentonville, Arkansas, home. He was a swimmer and competitive triathlete before graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point with the Class of 2019 and commissioning into the United States Army.
Jason became an Explosive Ordnance Disposal officer and was recognized by the Ordnance Corps with the Order of Samuel Sharpe. Those who knew him remember a quiet competitor who was caring, fiercely loyal, quick with humor, and devoted to the Lord, his family, and his country. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lorraine Hunt, and is survived by his father, Paul Ernest Hunt, and brother, Paul Austin Hunt.
