Remembering Joseph Andrew Tomko.

Capt. Joseph A. Tomko, 31, of 811 Lincoln Ave., Aliquippa, died last Thursday in an Army hospital in Japan as the result of wounds suffered when his base camp was attacked on April 9. Capt. Tomko had undergone several operations in hospitals in Vietnam and Japan and had been scheduled to be trans-ferred to a hospital in Beau- mnnt Tex., for further surgery.

A career officer with nine ears service, he served in years service ne scrvea m volunteering for Vietnamese service. At the time of his death he was a company com- mander with the First Airborne of Cavalry Division.
