Remembering Michael R. Adams.
1LT Michael R. Adams, a West Point graduate from Seattle, served with 1st Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment out of Fort Carson. He led a tank platoon in Iraq and was remembered for the responsibility he felt toward the soldiers under his care. Adams died on March 16, 2004, west of Baghdad while returning home from deployment. He was 24.
