Their Story

Remembering Matthew H. Brewer.

Captain Matthew H. Brewer was lost on February 19, 2021.

Captain Brewer served as an infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps where he deployed multiple times to Africa and the Southern Pacific. Captain Brewer was a standout linebacker on the Navy Football Team where his work ethic and self-sacrifice made lasting contributions to the team’s culture and greatly aided in winning multiple Commander-in-Chief’s Trophies.

Captain Brewer was also the Brigade Boxing Champion his senior year.

Captain Brewer is often described as a larger than life individual, whose individual strength was only out classed by his love of his family, friends, and fellow Marines. He was always known to go the extra mile to ensure that everyone around him felt supported and he was known for his strong faith in Jesus Christ and his ability to use that faith to steady all around him.
