LT Hobart K. Kistler was lost on April 30, 2021.

LT Kistler was a true American, honorably serving his country through service to his nation in the US Navy Supply Corps. Hobart was an incredible human being whose reputation crossed more social circles and networks than anyone could begin to imagine. A passionate historian and genealogist, LT Kistler never ceased to amaze those who knew him with his never-ending stories and his ability to transcend generations.
His impact on those he met serves as a testament to his character and his legacy will be unparalleled.
LT Kistler graduated from United States Naval Academy in May 2013 with a BS in Economics and a minor in Spanish and commissioned as a Naval Supply Corps Officer. After graduation, LT Kistler finished his MS in Finance from Johns Hopkins University before reporting to the Navy Supply Corps School in Newport, RI.
LT Kistler served tours as the Supply Officer aboard the USS Louisville (SSN-724), Deputy Director of Finance at the Office of Naval Reactors, Military Social Aide to the President, and was serving as the Retail Services Officer aboard the PCU John F. Kennedy (CVN-79).
